Webstock: the greatest conference in the history of the world.

This was my first Webstock. I’d heard great things from people who had attended in previous years, and I had always admired the world class speakers the conference managed to attract. But there’s nothing like experiencing it. It is, without doubt, the greatest conference I’ve ever attended. The speakers, the venue, the attendees, the overwhelming attention to every tiny detail is simply astounding.

I love the fact that it’s primarily a higher level conference, rather than deeply technical. I love the infusion of art; acknowledging the fact that the industries it serves to inspire don’t stand alone, they require a combination of various disciplines to create great things.

But most of all, I love that it was crafted right here in New Zealand, and is accessible to anyone. Congratulations to Tash, Mike and the whole Webstock crew for creating something unique, beyond world class, and truly remarkable.
